Clive Grant will play music by JS Bach, Antonio Soler, Olivier Messiaen, William Walton, Jean Alain and Henri Mulet.

Thanks to an anonymous and very generous friend of St George’s, the church organ has undergone a comprehensive overhaul and expansion in the last  two years.
Walker & Son Organ Builders, who built the original organ, were commissioned for the re-build.  The original instrument was an ‘extension’ organ, popular in the 1950’s, being both economical on the coffers and in terms of space.  Extension organs use a clever extension principle to create different pitches with a minimum number of pipes, …
