Advent Groups – Sign up now!

Advent Groups will start week beginning 19th or 26th November and will run for three weeks in small groups.  As last year, the course will be based on a booklet called ‘Follow the Star’ being produced by the Diocese.  We had 50-60 people involved last year, so please think about it.  The course will be on Colossians.  If you would like to order the booklet in advance, please sign the list at the back of the Church, or let Kathy Winrow know over the next two weeks.  Further information will follow.

Open House – Nurturing Our Faith

Following the positive response to the recent series of Lent Groups, this brochure provides details of further opportunities at St. George’s to help us explore and nurture our faith.
All these groups are open to anyone who is interested. It is anticipated the groups will be flexible to enable people to come and go as they wish to one or more of the sessions, or to try different groups. They are not intended to have fixed membership.
These opportunities cover June, July, and possibly August. Do contact the group leader if you are interested. It will be great to welcome new members at any group.
A more detailed brochure will be published in September for the Autumn term.

Lent Course 2013

St George’s has been on quite a journey over the last three years with a lot of time and energy spent on the church building, fixing problems and making it warm, welcoming and fit for purpose.
